Sometimes, all you need is a collection of tricks.
Imagine if you had the ability to rip out all the pages in magic magazines that had ads, or reviews that were basically ads, and all of those long reports on conventions and what books to buy. You’d be left with… just the tricks.
Andy has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Kentuckiana magic scene- and himself- to bring you a special collection of tricks. From consuming energies to dealing with cards that hate you, this magazine has a little bit of everything for the performer. We have tricks from Andy, Brent Braun, Jared Howell, Richard Darshwood, and Stephen Schneider. There’s tarot tricks, coin tricks, and even card tricks! You wanted stack work, we got that! You wanted difficult, we got that too!! What about semi automatic and self working? We heard you, and we added that as well! Some of the effects include:
A Deck Switch: a deck of cards switches places with another deck, in the spectators pocket!
2 different versions of Red Hot Mama that will make you reconsider the plot entirely. These two methods take the ideas present in the classic trick and turn it on its head.
The Card that Darsh Hates: this is the worker among workers. A card travels to the card box repeatedly when the spectator names it, with an ending that will leave your audience floored!
A version of Waving the Aces that will make you scratch your head!
Magazine Trix started as a e-zine only. For the first time, Vol 3 has been printed for the collector to read and enjoy. Also included in Vol 3 are all the tricks from Vols 1 and 2. We wanted to be able to have anyone and everyone who hadn’t had the chance to check out the first couple of volumes to have access to everything Magazine Trix has to offer. That’s over 25 tricks spread across over 50 pages! We’ve also included video explanations of every sleight of hand trick in the magazine- no more struggling with what the author is saying! If you have any trouble at all, every single visual explanation is just a QR code away.
Magazine Trix is a walk into the jam sessions that take place at J&B Magic shop. If you aren’t able to make it out on Thursday nights, this magazine will give you that experience!
